Toddlers | Chicago Childrens Photographer, Baby Photographer

I have been photographing this family since big sister was 6 months old, hitting all of her milestones.  When they added twins to the mix, I’ve gotten the pleasure of watching them all grow up.  I can’t believe the twins are now one year olds with their big sis being two years old.

This was one of the first times where I got to see Andrea’s precocious personality emerging.  She is usually very quiet, but while still not loud, she was a big tease!  In this first picture, she kept undoing her bow.  See her mischievous smile as she does it yet again?

Both of the girls loved playing with their grandmother’s flowers from the yard.  Aren’t they beautiful?  The girls, that is. LOL

But let’s not forget their brother!

And what happens when trying to get two one-year olds and a two year old to all sit still for one picture?  Well, um….

Twins | Chicago Baby Photographer, LaGrange Baby Photographer

YAY for babies!!  I’ve been needing a baby fix, and I got to get a double dose with these adorable 7 month old twins.  A note to parents, there is no rule that says you have to have pictures done at 6 months.  I highly recommend waiting until the baby is able to sit.  These two were so much fun, and the little girl was a total flirt the entire time!

I mean, who could resist these faces??

And I also got to use my red couch again with their big sister.  We’ll get to see more of her when she turns three in a few more months.

Christening | Chicago Baby and Children’s Photographer

Something new for me.  A first.  I was honored to photograph the Christening of these two cherubic twins last weekend in LaGrange.  Taking a step back from the constant beauty of my studio lighting, away from the gorgeous tones of the summer sun, I battled with the natural indoor lighting of a church.  It was also a change to not be in control of anything, but to just be an observer.  I tried to capture the moments for the family, like a fly on the wall.

As the priest did the sign of the cross on his forehead, he was so intrigued.  Check out his twin sister in the background.

Such sweeties.  Not a cry, not a pout.
