Baby Blues | Naperville Baby Photographer

This little girl had THE MOST amazing blue eyes!  They were huge and soooo blue.  She was a good trooper on this cold day and was very interested in her first balloon, though I’m sure she saw many more on her first birthday just a few days later.  I meant for her to take them with her, but they blew away mid way through the session.  Thank goodness she wasn’t a little bit older, or she might have been pretty upset watching the red balloons disappear into the white sky.

It was also great to photograph the family because mom here is always behind the camera.  It is a common mistake we make.  We are so busy documenting the lives of our families that we forget to be IN the pictures.  So glad I could help out on that issue. :)

Birthday Boys | Naperville Baby Photographer

It’s a Snow Day session!  These cuties were only days from turning one when we had our snow day session.  I love photographing twins, and being able to provide their one year portraits is wonderful.  Unfortunately it was a gloomy, cold day.  Not just cold, but with spitting sleet on top of it!  We had to be quick, but considering the weather, they were great troopers.

I have to say, I absolutely love the family one on ones with the parents.  I love mom and dad’s smiles and interactions with their little guys.

Happy birthday, boys!

At the end, the cold was just too much for the twins.  Time to call it quits.

Siblings | Naperville – Oak Brook Children’s Photographer

I had a great time meeting this brother and sister in Oak Brook.  The family loves photography and has pictures of the children and parents all over the house.  I love it when clients love photography!  They wanted natural pictures of their children being themselves, as opposed to a more formal studio appearance.

Adam was hilarious and had his stuffed kittens in on the shoot – they were both in front and behind the camera as my helpers.  His older sister, Sophia, entertained me with her hip hop dance routine.  Have I mentioned how fun my job is lately?

They were your typical siblings – younger brother annoying his older sister who in turn annoys the younger brother.  The below picture cracks me up because it is not posed and says so much.

So to work it all out we did what always works – PILLOW FIGHT!
