I met this little guy was four weeks old when I met him. I admit I was nervous, as that is a hard age, but while mom nursed him, I played with his 3.5 year old sister, who was super fun. When older siblings aren’t good about holding their baby brothers/sisters, the bed is a good option.
This little guy was 8 months old when I met him and bundle of smiles. He was so very easy, which allowed us to get a great variety of both studio and outdoor pictures by just walking down the street from the studio. I love babies on beds. They are inherently happy on them because most get played with at home on a bed. Little Spencer was a racer. His dad would put him back and Spencer would crawl quickly toward me. He thought it was a great game.
I love his little overalls. Boys without shirts in overalls is one of my favorite outfits for little boys. He was such a sweet baby!
I have photographed this family before and had been waiting on their newest daughter’s arrival. Unfortunately, this little one was having trouble gaining weight at first, and we weren’t able to get her in for pictures during my recommended first week or two of life. When I finally get to meet her, she was already five weeks old. At this age, she didn’t fall deeply asleep, so I couldn’t pose her much, but… she was seriously a doll. She is one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen! And for the most part, she was calm and sweet, which allowed me to get great pictures of her, but simply none on her belly where she is curled up.
Doesn’t she look like a Gerber baby – all big cheeks and adorable? 
I’m so happy to have met her, and congratulations to the family and big sisters!
And in case you thought it was all sweetness, we did have some moments of normality – but she was even cute when she cried.

I love photographing commercial work, and being a national toy company, the products are so fun, which makes it easy to get great pictures, as the kids love playing with them. The layout of the images is to fit with their needs (and to allow for text to be on the right side).
With only three weeks to go, this couple is officially counting down to the arrival of their son. I wonder if he will be a red head like his dad? It was one of our many horribly hot days, but shooting closer to sunset allows for a little relief. The momma-to-be was such a trooper in this heat and the getting up and down and covered in bugs in the grasses, etc. Maternity photography is all about the belly, and this mom did not disappoint with her adorable bump.
Now to wait for the call once they have their little one!
