Just some quick head shots.  If you are interested in head shots, you should know that we have a conversation to determine the best look for your needs and what you want to convey to your audience.  Is it traditional corporate?  Open and inviting? Young and approachable?  Depending on the answers, it will dictate the look of the head shots.  I typically provide three high-resolution images for such needs.  Contact me if interested.

These are traditional corporate head shots.

This post should really be titled, “Comedy of Errors”, because it was such a bad day.  Thank goodness this client was a great sport.  She needed corporate head shots – this type of session is usually pretty quick and painless….usually.  The day started with me forgetting my studio keys (and not realizing until I was there). So I had to call my husband to bring them.  Unfortunately, she arrived at this time and we got to know each other outside of the studio.  Great first impression, right? LOL

She laughed and told me when a day starts like that, it is bound to continue, and I thought that surely my day would only get better, right?  Wrong!  My giant softbox fell off at one point, and then all of my lights started misfiring, and the rim light started  firing in super speed – all without me even holding my camera.  So what else could go wrong?  Well, then the lights don’t work at ALL.  Turns out it is my transmitter’s battery.  I take it out, put it back in, and it lasts long enough for this session. But still – this was seriously a bizarre morning. LOL

But at least we got some very nice corporate head shots for this big wig.

I was asked to do some head shots for an up and coming comedian, Chris Davis.  He’s been asked to audition for the Second City troupe in Chicago.  My fingers are crossed for him, so he can become like one of the many famous comedians to come out of that place.  I’ll say, “I knew him when…” ;)  Being a comedian, we wanted his audition head shots to not be too boring.  Hard to be boring with this guy, though he confided that he absolutely detested having his picture taken.

Good luck, Chris!
