Birthday Boys | Naperville Baby Photographer

It’s a Snow Day session!  These cuties were only days from turning one when we had our snow day session.  I love photographing twins, and being able to provide their one year portraits is wonderful.  Unfortunately it was a gloomy, cold day.  Not just cold, but with spitting sleet on top of it!  We had to be quick, but considering the weather, they were great troopers.

I have to say, I absolutely love the family one on ones with the parents.  I love mom and dad’s smiles and interactions with their little guys.

Happy birthday, boys!

At the end, the cold was just too much for the twins.  Time to call it quits.

My first magazine cover publication | Naperville – Chicago child photographer

I’ve been waiting for the electronic file in order to share this with you.  I found out in November that one of my images was selected to be the cover for this issue of the international magazine, Autism File.  It is my first magazine cover, so I’m very excited.  Hopefully, it is only the first of many!

Waiting for Santa | Chicago – Orland Park Children’s Photographer

I met two of the sweetest little girls the other day.  Two little girls who are DEFINITELY on Santa’s “nice” list.  I had been warned before meeting them that the younger child was extremely shy and could be difficult to photograph.  But you know what, even shy little girls succumb to the power that is candy.;)  She was quickly smiling and joking with me and her older sister, who was my instant friend and buddy.  While I changed gears or lenses, they went back to coloring and drawing ponies.  And they even each drew a pony especially for me to take home!  (I told you these children were on Santa’s “nice” list).  When I left, the older girl hugged me and told me she loved me.

My job rocks.

I think mom and dad are going to have to be beating the boys back with a club when these girls get older.  They are truly beautiful.

After all the smiles and all the pictures, the children, while not snug in their bed, waited patiently for Santa to shoot through the night sky.
