Cousins | Chicago – Hinsdale Children’s Photographer

I photographed Kami (girl in blue shirt) for the special needs calendar over the summer.  It was great to see her and her sister again.  This time, they brought their cousins along.  What was fun about this particular image was how into it and full of ideas the girls were.  It was completely their idea for them to all hold hands, and it worked perfectly.

Chaos | Elmhurst – Chicago Childrens Photographer

What do you get when you have two families, five cousins (under the age of six), a toddler in a leg cast, and geese everywhere?  CHAOS!  We met at Eldridge Park in Elmhurst. Oh sure, it looks all easy and nice and kissy here…where there is only one family:

But, oh, it was nothing so peaceful when we tried to get the kids all together.   Instead, everyone wanted to either chase the geese who were having turf wars, or read their books, or just simply want to be held by mom.  This is how most of them looked:

LOL – but it was nice to get some good close ups of them all, and while little Catherine was being clingy with mom (who can blame her with that cast on?!), I was super excited to get the wonderful picture of Andrew (the oldest boy) because he has extreme sensitivity to light.  He is pretty impossible to capture in pictures without squinting, and I finally did it!
