I have a seven year old, I know the age well. But I was not prepared for the difference between photographing a 7 yr old boy versus girl. LOL Being a child photographer, I really like to capture a child’s true essence, not necessarily the posed smile. But do you know what happens when you stick a seven year old girl in front of a camera? She poses! LOL The moment we were set to go, she started posing, which totally cracked me up. I let her get it out of her system.
After getting it out of her system, I tried to direct her more and get a more honest expression from her. She was beautiful.
