This session occurred during one of our horrid heat waves. Even waiting until evening, it was still almost 100 degrees. I was soooo glad I was not in front of the camera, as I literally had sweat dripping. Gross. But this family looked great. They were all great sports, which I really appreciate, as not all boys, especially teenage boys, like having their pictures taken. They were up for anything I said, and watching them interact, I could tell they were naturally a very fun family. It was also the dad’s birthday on this day.
We chose this location partially because most places this summer are just dead and ugly due to the heat and drought, but also because with all the trees, it was much cooler once we got into the woods. Who says family photography can’t be fun?
