Sunset Silhouette Calendar Cover | Chicago Special Needs Child Photographer

Welcome to my blog and my very first blog post for Firefly Nights Photography!  I though I would start things off with what is going to be consuming me over the next couple of months – providing the photographs for the 2011 Celebrate Differences calendar.  Celebrate Differences is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families with special needs children.  I’m honored to be chosen as the photographer this year and will be photographing the first model next week.

But on to the cover, or at least what I think should be the cover.  This is my very own son and husband – and if you didn’t know, my son has Asperger’s Syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism.  This is my very first sunset silhouette.

The colors and the silhouette is beautiful I love how you can see the connection and that they are looking at each other. I can’t wait to see the calendar when it’s done!!

Beautiful Megan! I love how you can see they’re looking at each other even though they’re just silhouettes…Congrats on your blog!

Beautiful work as always. I wish it were not so similar to last year’s cover. We will have to brainstorm!
