I got to photograph at a new location with this Hinsdale family – Kathleen Legge Memorial Park. I always love finding new places, and this place had some nice variety. It was easy to take beautiful pictures of this family, I mean, just look at them!
But being me, I worked more on relating to the boys. The younger boy is the same age as my own son and was very outgoing. He was so easy to get to smile and laugh naturally, that all I had to do was just give him an expectant look, and he would crack up.
His older brother was more serious. And while he had a great smile, it was hard to get him to drop his “picture smile”. But it turned out that he loved to talk baseball, and that helped to get him to relax and be himself. Love the way these boys look against the brick.
These guys were so much fun, and the five year old made sure to remind me to give him candy at the end of the session. LOL.
