Senior photography is so much fun.  Hands down, it allows me to be the most creative, so I definitely love doing it.  I photographed Lindsey’s best friend earlier this summer, and now it was her turn for this Naperville Central High School senior.  She had her hair and makeup professionally done by my team, and then we headed for some urban pictures with her awesome red pants and polka dot top.  I love being able to show all parts of a teenager’s personality.  And with all that hair, thank goodness it wasn’t overly windy!  But it was super humid. Blah.

I always really love the edginess of this secret grunge wall.  And the editing is different and fun.

 

 

 

Then it was time for an outfit change and the big skies and fields….and bugs.  Oh, there was a specific fallen log I wanted to use, but when we got there, it had ants all over it. As she tells me this, I look down, and ants were crawling all over my foot!  Ugh, just remembering it makes me shudder!  We went to a location I haven’t used in a long time, and I really need to remember to go here more often.  Such beautiful, open fields, darker grasses, and a nice gazebo, as well.

 

I love daisies, and it made for a perfect time for “He loves me, he loves me not”, which made her laugh.

 

And then down a path to a marshier  area with these lovely dark grasses.

 

You may remember my image like the below, but with all the flowers?  Well, that is Lindsey’s best friend, so we thought we would do the same thing for her – but minus the flowers.  They both have the longest hair ever!

 

And then up to the gazebo with this soft light.
